MetaC "UVid-It"

Sorry that this announcement is coming a week late, had meant for it to be announced prior to the long CNY break so as to capitalise on it, but, let's not dwell on this.

"UVid-It" What exactly is it about?
In simple terms "UVid-It"(pronounced U-Vid-It), is a step I hope to engage and involve MetaC's readers. "UVid-It" meant "You Video It".

It's not really about filming a whole new video, since I doubt its possible you can enlist the help of Xiaoqian or Dilun, but it's more so of a clip for you to play with what has happened in Meta/MetaC, and to explore areas which is yet to be discovered.

"UVid-It" can be in the form of video, edited from Metamorphosis, or it can be in the form of a Flash animation clip, in which you can draw the characters and get them moving! Basically, I accept any format as long as youtube/veoh accepts them, but no Virus or Slideshows ya? Haha.

What are the requirements?
Well, I wanna make this possible for all innovative/creative ideas in you guys, to flow spontaneously, So not much of a restriction, except that it must be related to Meta, and it should not be a slideshow. Perhaps you could email me your plans/storyboard before taking it to task? Just to reconfirm? Up to you!

Please credit yourself, Mediacorp(if you are editing from Metamorphosis), MetaC(compulsory of course, haha), the original rights to the song(if you are using any), other contributors to your video and to include "metacont.uni.cc" .

Who can join?
Anyone! But gotta remind you that, there's no rewards since MetaC has always been FOC.

Will everyone's video be used?
If everyone's video is not offensive/vulgar, well then I must say, a very high chance! You gotta understand that to maintain the web, I can't allow for sub-standards work, but I'm really quite flexible, ask STW who submitted her emoticons to me.

What can I do?
Well, you can try making music videos by editing out clips on Wanrou-Ouyang, Xiaoqian-Xicun, Dilun-Ouyang, Dilun-Xiaoqian, Ouyang-Xiaoqian or CID-team etc. Or maybe you can do a "Gift Of Love" Part 2.

I want to "UVid-It", but I have no idea what to start on..
Email Me! I have lots of ideas, and my rate of flow of ideas are quite fast(trust me), we can work with your desirements, customised with my ideas and your effort, for a "UVid-It" video!!! Please please email me if you wanna "UVid-It" but has no ideas..

When's the deadline for "UVid-It" submission?
I will put it at 16March2008, Sunday, the last day of March Holidays, so that you guys can spend the holidays on it, if normal school time does not free you up for so. I wouldn't mind receiving it earlier.

What else do I need to know?
1. You can submit as many "UVid-It" videos as you like!
2. It can be a muted/grayscale/serpia/full colours/with music+dialogues/with music only type of video, it's your choice!
3. If you are using any song(s), please email and notify beforehand so that I can "reserve" the song for you, kinda boring if a small site like MetaC has clips with songs that clashes. More memorable if all clips have their exclusive songs right?

Really hope that you guys would be interested in "UVid-It", and be involved in this, after all, anyone here is part of the big MetaC's big family! Would really appreciate if any1 who is interested would email me, let me know you are interested, for I'm really scared that no one will "UVid-It".
